Our fixative base acts as a conditioning salve that soaks into your skin to deepen and extend the scent of natural perfume oils. This balm contains a blend of natural fixative extracts that hold perfume down longer, oils to moisturize the skin for a better scent hold, and beeswax to creates a barrier that prevents perfume oils from being absorbed too quickly.

Our perfumes do not have the propellants and extenders (phthalates) that many synthetic perfumes contain, so if you want extra longevity without the harmful chemicals, this primer is recommended. The scent alone is subtle, dry and powdery, but when worn under perfume oils it amplifies their heart and base notes for at least an extra hour.
