Chrysanthemum Tisane
Whole Chrysanthemum tops grown in Jiangxi province, China. These blooms are carefully cultivated at the Xiao Qi (晓起) farm, where the Ying family, well-known in the chrysanthemum world, produce their competition-winning flowers. Their fields are naturally fertilized and harvested in the fall by hand. Chrysanthemum tea is a very old tradition in Chinese medicine for its health benefits. The flavor is light and buttery, soft and herbal.
Steep in hot (but not boiling) water for several minutes to infuse the smooth and soothing flavor or pure chrysanthemum. Sweeten if desired. Multiple steeps encouraged.
