Galbanum is a bitter green resin with a venomous undertone. We have found that while at first it may be strange, you may become obsessed as your olfactory develops an appreciation for it. This accord puts pure galbanum resin at the heart, surrounding it with herbs to highlight its polarizing beauty and diffuse the edges with a tea-like sweetness.

Our Accord Extraits are at the highest wearable concentration (30-45%) so that they can be worn sparingly or used to layer lightly into any other scent. 

Accords are different than a typical perfume because of the way they are approached by the perfumer. The goal of an accord is to create a singular recognizable essence, even if many different materials go into making it. This allows the perfumer to create notes that cannot be naturally derived otherwise, as well as enhance a material to bring out its fullest beauty. Accords are not formulated based on longevity or balance, but instead they express the perfumer's take on a well-known scent.
